Who Am I

So much of who we consider ourselves to be are simply resume fillers: age, education, work history, etc. What if it was all taken away? Stripped from all titles, diplomas, and pretenses, what would remain?

I am Daniel Sung Un Im. Eldest of 4. Korean-American. Follower of Christ. Prayer warrior-intercessor. Mentor-teacher.

My name is in the Book of Life; I have been dressed in white; I am victorious even as I grasp for victory.

I’ve heard the devil laugh and yet, found the darkness overcome by the light. I’ve driven out demons; seen visions; healed mind, body, and soul; and speak in the tongue of the Spirit.

I am called Child and Beloved of the Most High God.

I have a missionary’s heart and a yearning for justice and righteousness – to be a voice for the voiceless and a light in dark places.

In all I do I find my epitaph ringing clear: May the Lamb who was slain receive the reward of His suffering. And so I remember – For The Lamb.

I am an adventurer – this life is my adventure, and Christ my guiding light.
